Index of Assyriology

Beginning with Volume 25 (1974-1977), the Archiv für Orientforschung has published in almost every volume under the title “Register für Assyriologie” a bibliography of the newly published Assyriological literature and an index, broken down into subject areas treated, Akkadian and Sumerian words, texts, and passages. In the short term, a summary of the previously published material and a publication in electronic form is intended.

At this point, we would like to ask all our colleagues to send us reprints of works published that are hard to get, as extensive bibliographic research is not possible due to the great amount of time involved in compiling the index.
