Mobility Programmes for Students
Studying abroad is the best way to get to know new countries, (knowledge) cultures, languages and people, and offers:

Students have several possibilities to spend time abroad:
Erasmus+ Student Exchange at a European Partner University
- For Bachelor's, Master's, Diploma, and PhD students
- Bachelor’s students: from the 3rd semester; master’s students: from the 1st semester
- Duration: one or two semesters (3-12 months)
- Monthly grant
- Application deadline: depending on your department (at the latest: 5 March or 5 October)
Erasmus+ Traineeships
- For Bachelor’s, Master's, Diploma, and PhD students
- Bachelor’s students: from the 3rd semester; master’s students: from the 1st semester
- Duration: 2 months to 12 months
- Monthly grant
- Applications possible throughout the year (at least six weeks before the start of the traineeship)
Non-EU Student Mobility outside of Europe
- Bachelor’s, Master's, Diploma students
- Bacherlor’s and Diploma students: STEOP and at least 2 semesters in your field of study completed
- Duration: one or two terms (4-9 months)
- Monthly grant
- Application deadline: 1 November, 15 November, 1 February
Erasmus+ International Student Mobility outside of Europe
- Master's or PhD students
- NO Bachelor's students
- Duration: one term
- Monthly grant
- Application deadline: beginning of October or beginning of February
Short-term grants abroad (KWA)
- Master's, diploma, PhD students
- For research within the scope of a diploma/master's thesis or a dissertation
- Duration: 2 weeks-3 months
- Monthly grant
- Application deadline: 15 February, 15 May, 15 October
